Discover SOS Expats Radio: a new podcast for expatriates in Switzerland

Living and doing business in Switzerland is a unique experience, full of opportunities but also challenges. This is the context in which SOS Expats Radio was born — a podcast designed to support Spanish-speaking people who already live in Switzerland or are planning to move here soon. Our goal is simple: to share practical tips, give a voice to expat entrepreneurs, and create a space where we can all learn from each other’s experience.

Why a podcast for expats?

Settling in a new country means facing a world of rules and codes that are often difficult to understand. Switzerland has its own standards, administrative procedures, and legal framework. Official documents are often written in a formal and legal language that can be complex even for native speakers. For newcomers, this can quickly become overwhelming.

With SOS Expats Radio, we want to provide clear, practical answers. Upcoming episodes will give the floor to people who have already gone through these steps and who will share their tips, advice, and real-life experiences.

Giving a voice to entrepreneurs

One of the highlights of the podcast is the interviews with expat entrepreneurs. Each will share their story, successes, and challenges, with the aim of inspiring and guiding those who want to build a professional project in Switzerland. The idea is to show that there is no single path to success, but many different ways to build a life here.

These interviews will also shed light on the human side: adaptation, cultural differences, the importance of local networking, and the lessons learned from the first steps in a new environment.

A first version in Spanish

At the moment, SOS Expats Radio has launched in Spanish, and the very first episode is already available. You can listen for free on Amazon Music (no registration required) or on Spotify (premium subscription needed):

An English version is also in the works, in order to reach an even wider audience.

Share your story

We believe that everyone has a story worth telling. If you are an English-speaking business owner living in Switzerland, and you would like to share your personal or professional experience, we would be delighted to welcome you for a future interview. Simply write to us at: podcast@soscourrier.ch.

A space to learn and grow together

With SOS Expats Radio, we want to create a place for exchange and support. Whether you have been living in Switzerland for years or are just preparing your move, this podcast is meant to be a companion along the way. Real stories, practical advice, and inspiring ideas — that’s what you’ll find here.

We invite you to discover this new project and share it with those around you. Because in Switzerland, as elsewhere, the experience of others can be a true asset for moving forward.
